Place your Ruby in a location where it can receive bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun will scorch the leaves, but this plant will not fare well in low light spaces. Placement a few feet removed from southern or western exposure is ideal, or directly in an eastern facing window works too! Always be sure to assess your plant’s watering needs. Before giving your plant a drink, it is best to check the moisture level in the soil first to ensure it isn’t moist right beneath the surface.
