Alocasia micholitziana ‘Frydek’, also known as Alocasia Green Velvet is a stunningly beautiful variety of Alocasia that has grown massively in popularity over the last few years. Like other Alocasias, keeping it thriving and looking its best can be a bit of a challenge. To provide good Alocasia Frydek care, provide bright indirect light, high humidity, and well-draining potting mix that stays lightly moist. Variegated Alocasia Frydeks need generous, but indirect sunlight, so aim to place it less than 1m (3ft) from any window.
